Course in Steeltemp® 2D
The STEELTEMP program is used for calculating the temperature of steel during various processes. This course focuses on use of STEELTEMP 2D for calculation of temperature progression in rectangular and round steel stock. It provides both an introduction to how the program functions and guidelines for how to do your own calculations. This includes, among other aspects, heating models, metalworking models, cooling, mill scale, thermal data and processing of indata and results. A one-month STEELTEMP license is included in the course.
Course participants will bring their own computers to run STEELTEMP. The course is given in English.
For whom is the course intended?
The course is mainly intended for those who wish to study temperature progression during the processes of heating, rolling, forging and cooling.
