Injection moulding

Injection moulding is the most common method for producing plastic components. The method is suitable for both simple and complex products in large production runs.

Evaluating properties of plastics

We injection mould the test pieces ourselves that are used in our material testing. This means that we can swiftly go from compounding to testing material properties. That we perform injection moulding in-house also means that we have control over all aspects of testing.

Besides ISO and ASTM sample rods and plates primarily for mechanical testing, we also have the capability to assess a material's flow properties using a spiral tool. We can also provide customers with the opportunity to test their tools at our facilities.

Our injection moulder is an Engel ES 200/110 with 1100 kN locking force, equipped for processing temperatures of up to 450 °C.
