3D printing

Swerea provides services and expertise in 3D printing, also known as free form fabrication (FFF), rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing or the overall name of additive manufacturing (Additive Manufacturing - AM).

We can help with testing, visualize and verify the new components in products but also to develop new products.

3D-printer is used primarily to create spare parts, components, prototypes to validate new concepts and create new products. Swerea work with the entire chain from 3D modeling and choice of production method to geometry assurance and 3D imaging for quality control.
