Design and computation

Here, we work with the development and application of sizing models for safe and efficient structural composite designs. Specifically, models are developed for predicting the strength and rigidity of various types of composite materials such as short-fibre, textile-reinforced and natural fibre composites. To ensure the reliability of the developed methods, they are verified by extensive mechanical testing e.g., mixed-mode delamination testing.
