Failure analysis / Advisory service
Swerea KIMAB annually conducts several hundred assignments related to various types of failure analyses and advisory services. Frequently occurring are material selection issues, often related to corrosion aspects. The assignments extend from relatively short analyses or questions at issue to very extensive investigations. Our customers represent many different sectors and vary from small manufacturing companies or consulting firms to large groups of companies or government agencies.

Swerea KIMAB has a flexible organisation which entails that we can quickly conduct relatively large assignments. With over 100 researchers, all with their specific areas of expertise, we can resolve most of our customers' problems, promptly and effectively. We can dispatch experienced investigators to the field on short notice to inspect damage and check production operations. Our extensive and advanced stock of instruments is readily accessible so that we can quickly conduct the analyses or tests necessary for drawing correct conclusions.
